Ms. Vasilevich is one of the founders of the Environmental Risk Strategies Institute (ERSI).  ERSI, in association with Texas State University-San Marcos provides specialized services in the areas of environmental law, medicine, insurance, risk management and technology.  ERSI and Texas State University-San Marcos also provide a nationally–recognized and accredited professional curriculum for the environmental industry, of which Ms. Vasilevich is a part of the faculty.  ERSI developed this website,  the first comprehensive online resource, which provides information, knowledge, and solutions for environmental decision-makers.  

She is responsible for the research, evaluation, and suggested coverage modifications to various environmental insurance/risk financing products used by the industry.  This includes policy comparisons, exposure evaluation, program structure, and product development, all of which is delivered through the interactive website and consultative services.  

Working with the other professionals of ERSI, including lawyers, medical experts, and various research personnel, she leads the team that continually evaluates and maintains the on-line resource for insurance and risk financing.   

Her career in the insurance industry began in 1985, working for several global insurance brokers and specializing in the environmental field.  In her previous position as Vice President of an international environmental technical resource group, she designed and evaluated various risk financing and insurance programs used to manage and mitigate environmental liabilities for Fortune 1000 corporations. 

Ms. Vasilevich has written numerous articles on the subject of insurance and is a frequent speaker for various professional and industry organizations, including local and national RIMS, and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM).  She has earned the prestigious Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU), as well as the Environmental Risk Management (ERM) designation from Texas State University. 

Throughout her career, she has continued her professional development through receiving environmental certifications from various organizations, including Georgia Tech.
